LGBTQ Women Artist (2019)
Common Thread Press is a Norwich-based arts publishing project that aims to make art history more affordable, accessible and community oriented. They publish zines, deliver workshops and curate events that look at the intersection of art history and activism. I became a featured creator and was collaborated to create illustrations for their 4th zine issue celebrating LGBTQ Women Artists in 2019.
The zine also featured artists from like Frida Kahlo, Artemisia Gentileschi to Claude Cahun and Anni Albers. Made By Women
x The Gallyry has also created bookmarks as part of the launch of Made By Women series on The Gallyry, where it aims to inspire and educate others about some of the great artists from history.
Each bookmarks celebrates an artist and feature the original illustrations from the issue as well. The zines are stocked in bookshops and art galleries around the UK, including the Tate Modern and the Whitworth.
